The HVAC websites page explains which package suits which kind of company.
How to choose a plan
Short answer: choose by what's broken and how much capacity you have, not by the size of the plan.
- Starter suits a company that needs the foundations done properly: a website that converts, a complete Business Profile, local SEO and a basic ads setup. It's where most owner-operated and small-fleet companies should begin.
- Growth suits a company that already gets steady calls and wants to grow faster in more channels, with reviews, retargeting and CRM integration tying it together. Weekly reporting helps when spend is higher.
- Elite suits multi-location companies or brands where video, PR and a dedicated account manager are worth the cost, and where the owner wants a real-time view of performance.
If you're unsure, the services hub has a simple "where to start" checklist.
Does it pay for itself? A worked check
Short answer: compare the plan cost with the gross margin of the extra jobs you need to cover it.
These are illustrative numbers; put in your own.
- Growth plan with 5% GST (a BC or Alberta client): $4,722.90 per month.
- Suppose your average replacement job carries $3,000 of gross margin after equipment and labour.
- Break-even on the plan alone: $4,722.90 ÷ $3,000 = about 1.6 replacement jobs a month.
- Add your ad budget if it's billed separately. If that's $2,000, the total is $6,722.90, and break-even rises to about 2.2 jobs.
- Repair and maintenance calls that become future replacements are upside on top.
If you can't see a realistic path to that number within six months, start smaller. For the full method, read our guide to setting an HVAC marketing budget. For a profit-first view of job values and cost per booked job, HVACProfit.ca goes deeper.
What drives your total cost up or down
Short answer: ad budget, number of locations, competition and how much content you need.
- Ad budget. Money paid to Google or Meta is the biggest variable. Confirm how it's billed in any proposal.
- Number of locations or service areas. More areas mean more pages, more Business Profiles and more campaigns to manage.
- Competition. A dense metro market usually needs more content and higher ad budgets than a small town.
- Starting point. A company with no website, tracking or reviews needs more setup than one with good foundations.
- Seasonality. Many companies raise budgets in peak heating or cooling months and lower them in between.
Questions to ask about any HVAC marketing price
Short answer: get the full cost, the ownership terms and the exit terms in writing.
- What is the total monthly cost including tax and ad spend?
- Which accounts will be in my company's name?
- What do I keep if I leave?
- What will be reported, and how often?
- Are there setup fees or minimum terms?
Our FAQ answers more of these, and the contact page explains how to get a written quote. Call, text or email; you'll talk to a senior strategist.
Frequently asked questions
Does the monthly plan include ad spend?
Ask us to confirm, in writing, how the budget paid to Google or Meta is handled for your plan. Whatever the arrangement, your ad spend should be visible to you in an account your company owns.
Do your prices include GST or HST?
No. Prices are listed in Canadian dollars before tax, and Canadian clients add GST/HST based on their province (GST and QST in Quebec). For example, the Starter plan at $2,998 per month comes to $3,147.90 with 5% GST in BC or Alberta, or $3,387.74 with 13% HST in Ontario.
Is there a setup fee or long contract?
There is no lock-in. The published plan and website prices are on this page and on HVAC.Agency's pricing page. If a proposal from us, or anyone, includes anything beyond them, ask for it to be itemised in writing before you agree.
What happens in the free trial?
Over seven days we run a digital marketing audit, a website performance check, an SEO analysis and competitor benchmarking. No credit card is required, and you're under no obligation afterwards.
Can a small HVAC company afford this?
It depends on your job values and capacity, not your size. Use the cost-per-booked-job maths on this page: if the plan pays for itself with a handful of replacement jobs a month, it may make sense; if not, a website project alone may be the better first step.
