Your HVAC website is where your ads, SEO and reviews either pay off or leak away. Most visitors arrive on a phone, often in a cold house or a hot bedroom, and they decide in seconds whether to call you or hit the back button. A good HVAC website makes that decision easy. This page covers what it needs, what our packages include and the mistakes we see most.
What an HVAC website has to do in the first five seconds
Short answer: show who you are, where you work, what you fix and how to reach you, before the visitor scrolls.
Picture someone in Saskatoon whose furnace quit at 10 p.m. They tap your listing. Within five seconds they need to see:
- That you serve their area, stated plainly near the top
- That you handle their problem, with clear links to furnace, boiler, heat pump and AC pages
- How to reach you now, with call and text buttons that stay visible on mobile
- Why they should trust you, through your licences, review rating and years in business
Anything that delays those four (a slider, a pop-up, a slow-loading video) costs calls.
What's included in our HVAC website builds
Short answer: a mobile-first site with dedicated service and area pages, tracking, speed work and ongoing care.
- A page for each core service, written to rank and to answer the questions buyers ask
- Area pages for communities you genuinely serve, with local detail rather than swapped town names
- Call and text buttons on every page, with call tracking that keeps your main number consistent
- Trust content: licences and registrations, warranty terms you actually offer, your team's experience, your review profile
- Fast mobile performance, compressed images and clean code
- Analytics and conversion tracking set up from day one
- Basic on-page SEO: titles, descriptions, headings, internal links and structured data
- Hosting, updates, backups and security in the monthly care plan
Packages and timelines
Short answer: three packages, from a focused small site to a multi-location build.
| Package | Price (one-time) | Scope | Timeline | Monthly care |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | $3,500 | 5–7 page custom website | 2–3 weeks | $149/month hosting and maintenance |
| Professional | $6,500 | 10–15 page conversion-focused website | 3–4 weeks | $249/month hosting, maintenance and CRO |
| Enterprise | $12,500 | Unlimited pages and locations | 4–6 weeks | $449/month full management |
Prices are in Canadian dollars; Canadian clients add GST or HST for their province (GST plus QST in Quebec). Websites are also part of our monthly plans. See the pricing page for how they fit together.
Who each package suits
Short answer: match the package to the number of services and areas you need to rank for, not to how impressive you want the site to look.
- Essential suits a one- or two-truck company serving one town with three or four core services.
- Professional suits an established company selling several system types across a metro area, where each service needs its own page and conversion testing matters.
- Enterprise suits multi-location brands, or companies that want a page for every model, part or community they serve. BoilerPart.ca is the scale example: 2,000+ programmatic pages and 180% organic traffic growth.
How we measure a website's results
Short answer: by the share of visitors who call, text or request a quote, and by the booked jobs that follow.
The metrics we report:
- Conversion rate: calls, texts and quote requests divided by visits, tracked by page and by source
- Mobile speed: load times measured on real mobile connections, not just a fast office line
- Top entry pages: which service and area pages bring people in, and which ones lose them
- Booked jobs by page, where your CRM or call log allows it
A site that doubles its conversion rate doubles the value of every ad dollar and every ranking. That's why the Professional and Enterprise care plans include ongoing conversion work, not just hosting. Our guide to reading HVAC marketing reports explains which numbers to ask for.
Mistakes to avoid when building an HVAC website
Short answer: the most expensive mistakes are about ownership, structure and claims, not colours.
- Letting the builder register your domain. If the domain is in their name, you don't fully control your business online.
- One page for every service. It can't rank for furnace repair, heat-pump installation and AC service all at once.
- Cloned city pages. They read badly and can be treated as doorway pages. Write fewer, real ones.
- Stock photos of someone else's van. Real photos of your trucks, team and jobs build more trust.
- Unverifiable claims. "Fastest in the city" or out-of-date rebate amounts invite complaints. Keep claims specific and current, and link to the program administrator.
- No tracking. Without call tracking and analytics, you can't tell which pages earn their keep.
- Building in French as an afterthought. If you serve Quebec customers, French content is not optional. Our Quebec page links the official guidance.

Frequently asked questions
How much does an HVAC website cost?
Our packages are Essential at $3,500, Professional at $6,500 and Enterprise at $12,500, all one-time, plus monthly hosting and maintenance from $149. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and Canadian clients add GST/HST based on their province (GST and QST in Quebec).
How long does a new HVAC website take?
Essential sites take two to three weeks, Professional three to four weeks and Enterprise four to six weeks. The biggest cause of delay is usually waiting on photos, licence details and service-area decisions from the client.
Will I own my website and domain?
Your domain should always be registered in your company's name, whoever builds the site. Ask us to set out ownership of the domain, content and analytics in writing before work starts, and ask the same of any builder you consider.
Can you fix my existing website instead of rebuilding it?
Sometimes. If the platform is sound, fixing speed, page structure and calls to action can be faster and cheaper than a rebuild. The free 7-day trial includes a website performance check that tells you which route makes sense.
